Every year a number of artists are invited to show their work in this lovely old building in the middle of Nieuwkoop. For 13 weeks during the summer there is a wide variety of work to be seen.
This year I was invited to participate with my Ragments, wearable collages, together with two other artists working with textiles – Nel Butter, who uses lace making techniques in her own very modern way; and Elly Nederpeld, who combines fragments of fabric, found objects and stitching to produce beautiful whimsical pictures.
Our joint exhibition is on show from Tuesday 9th August until Sunday 14th August from 12.00 to 17.00 hours. Saturday from 10.00 to 16.00 hours. During this period one or more of us will be available to chat with you, answer questions, and handle sales.
