ON THE BODY, ‘ragments’ made to be worn

I call the clothes I make RAGMENTS
This is a play on the words garments (which are usually mass produced) and rags (how our clothes usually end up).

Using natural and sustainable fibres (silk, linen, bamboo, hemp, organic and re-purposed cotton) combined with remnants and pre-loved cast-offs, I de-construct, dye, applique, screen-print, and stitch to create new and unique clothing – anything but mass produced!

SCRAPS

small scraps of memory passed down from my great-grandmother, or handed to me by friends. Found lying around, rescued from forgotton boxes, and incorporated into jewellery pieces.

Old lace collars, fragments of cloth, threads, everything is transformed and given continuity.
